Natural Remedies for Fibromyalgia

  1. I was diagnosed in 2006 after what seemed a life time of being told it was arthritis. Where no bones existed.
The doctor with a brain, who listened to what I was actually saying, put me on nortriptyline and it was a miracle.

A year later I discovered yoga, and my inside and outside were complete :)

all the best on the journey, Sharyn

    1. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this fibromyalgia. I have also this kind of disease and I want to cure this. Is there any way to cure it in natural way.

  2. There is no actual "cure" for Fibromyalgia. There are a variety of treatments. It's a very individual experience. What works for one person, may not work for another. Due to adverse effects, I am unable to take any anti-depressants, which is what nortriptyline is. I had been in yoga classes for decades but when I became ill, I found the sustained positions of yoga too painful. I am currently doing very well. I don't take any meds at all. I eat a regular diet with minimal processed foods and vitamin supplements. I exercise by going on walks. I stopped identifying myself as "someone with fibromyalgia" and that helped a lot. You may notice that I haven't posted anything in a long time. I decided to take photos and write bad poetry instead.

The most helpful thing for me was Mindfulness Meditation and a careful, healthy, moderate diet with moderate but regular exercise. I personally think much of this illness is due to improper sleep (no stage four) which is helped through meditation in my opinion. I wish you much luck on your journey.
